Job Description
Data Architect - Fixed Term Contract (12 months) - £(Apply online only)K - Hybrid/Central London An interesting opportunity for an experienced Data Architect to join a financial services business in the midst of a major transformation, and take responsibility for Data Architecture across a number of key platforms.
Working closely with senior business stakeholders, you'll be responsible for creating and reviewing data architectures, and for ensuring that the third party implementation partner is creating and deploying solutions which are fit for purpose and align with the broader data architectural requirements.
You'll need particular experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure and MS Dynamics: ideally you'll have previously worked on a migration from on prem SQL Server into a Fabric environment.
Day to day your role will be primarily oversight, governance, architectural design, and acting as a translator between the business and the partner.
You'll be hands off but will need excellent capability both in functional data architecture and in the technical requirements of the project, in order to be able to provide in depth expertise. The role is a fixed term contract; likely 12 months in the first instance.
