Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Finastra PayPlus (Global PAYplus). The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in testing payment processing applications and a solid understanding of banking payment systems, particularly ACH and Wire Transfer payments.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of PayPlus applications through comprehensive functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing for Finastra PayPlus applications.
  • Analyze business and functional requirements and develop detailed test scenarios and test cases.
  • Validate end-to-end payment processing workflows within the PayPlus platform.
  • Test and verify ACH and Wire Transfer payment processing functionalities.
  • Execute test cases, analyze results, and identify defects.
  • Log, track, and manage defects through resolution using defect management tools.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Operations teams to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Support SIT, UAT, production releases, and post-release validations.
  • Prepare test execution reports and maintain testing documentation.
  • Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA input during project planning phases.
Required Skills
  • Total YOE required 8+
  • 5-8 years of experience working on Finastra PayPlus (Global PAYplus).
  • Proven experience working as a QA/Test Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of the Payments domain.
  • Hands-on experience in testing:
    • ACH Payments
    • Wire Transfers
  • Experience with Functional Testing, Integration Testing, SIT, UAT, and Regression Testing.
  • Knowledge of payment lifecycle, transaction processing, and payment validations.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or HP ALM.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of SWIFT payment messages.
  • Experience with SQL and database validation.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Experience in Banking and Financial Services projects.
Mandatory Requirements
  • 5-8 years of Finastra PayPlus experience.
  • Experience working as a QA Engineer.
  • Strong Payments domain knowledge.
  • Hands-on ACH and Wire Transfer testing experience.
