Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Android platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Jetpack, and REST APIs, along with a good understanding of mobile application architecture and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Build responsive and user-friendly mobile applications using Android SDK and Jetpack components.
• Implement MVVM/MVI or Clean Architecture patterns.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party services.
• Work with backend teams to integrate APIs and troubleshoot application issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Perform unit testing, UI testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Use Git for source control and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to technical design discussions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Android application development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose is highly preferred.
• Experience with MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, Retrofit/OkHttp.
• Experience with Coroutines and Flow.
• Knowledge of SQLite/Room and local data storage.
• Experience with JUnit, Espresso, or other Android testing frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Git and CI/CD practices.
• Good understanding of Android application lifecycle, memory management, and performance optimization.
