Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced High-Speed PCB Design Engineer to support a 6–9 month remote project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing high-speed printed circuit boards (PCBs) using Altium Designer or Siemens Xpedition. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of PCB layout best practices, signal integrity, and high-speed digital design.

Required Qualifications

• (Mandatory due to security regulations)
• Proven experience in High-Speed PCB Design
• Strong hands-on experience with Altium Designer and/or Siemens Xpedition
• Experience designing complex, multi-layer PCBs
• Knowledge of high-speed routing, impedance control, differential pair routing, and signal integrity
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, or other high-speed interfaces
• Familiarity with PCB manufacturing and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) guidelines
• Experience working on aerospace, defense, telecommunications, or other regulated industries is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-speed PCB layouts for complex electronic systems
• Create and maintain PCB layouts using Altium Designer or Siemens Xpedition
• Ensure compliance with signal integrity, power integrity, and manufacturing requirements
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize board performance
• Review designs, resolve layout issues, and support prototype builds
