Senior Oracle SCM Technical Architect – AI/GenAI

Job Overview

TechAGI Solutions is seeking a Senior Oracle SCM Technical Architect with strong hands-on experience in Oracle SCM Cloud and/or Oracle E-Business Suite.

This is primarily an Oracle SCM technical role. The ideal candidate must have proven experience developing Oracle SCM customizations, integrations, extensions, reports, workflows, and automation solutions. Practical knowledge of Generative AI and AI-assisted software-development tools is also required.

Candidates with general AI or machine-learning experience but without strong Oracle SCM implementation experience will not be considered.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support technical solutions for Oracle SCM Cloud and/or Oracle EBS.

• Develop Oracle SCM customizations, extensions, reports, workflows, interfaces, and automation solutions.

• Build and support integrations between Oracle SCM and enterprise applications.

• Develop solutions using PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript, Groovy, REST APIs, and SOAP services.

• Design and implement integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud.

• Develop applications and extensions using VBCS and Oracle APEX.

• Translate SCM functional requirements into scalable technical designs.

• Work with Oracle SCM functional consultants, business analysts, developers, testers, and business stakeholders.

• Support Oracle Cloud upgrades, technical impact assessments, testing, deployment, and production issues.

• Troubleshoot data, integration, workflow, reporting, and application-performance problems.

• Apply AI-assisted tools to development, testing, code review, documentation, troubleshooting, and modernization activities.

• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, regression testing, release management, and DevOps processes.

• Prepare technical specifications, architecture diagrams, integration documents, deployment instructions, and support documentation.

• Provide technical guidance and Oracle SCM development best practices to project teams.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SCM Cloud and/or Oracle E-Business Suite.

• Proven Oracle SCM technical architecture, development, implementation, or consulting experience.

• Experience developing Oracle SCM customizations, extensions, interfaces, workflows, reports, and automation.

• Strong experience with PL/SQL and at least one of the following: Java, JavaScript, or Groovy.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, REST APIs, SOAP services, or file-based integrations.

• Experience with VBCS and/or Oracle APEX.

• Experience supporting Oracle SCM implementations, upgrades, deployments, and production environments.

• Understanding of Oracle SCM business processes and the ability to work with functional teams.

• Practical experience using Generative AI or AI-assisted development tools.

• Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, agentic AI, or GitHub Copilot.

• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, and regression testing.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience modernizing Oracle SCM Cloud or Oracle EBS applications.

• Experience applying AI tools within Oracle application-development or support environments.

• Experience with Oracle Cloud upgrades and release-management activities.

• Experience leading technical design and architecture discussions.

• Oracle Cloud or Oracle SCM certification.

Important Candidate Requirement

Oracle SCM experience is mandatory. Candidates whose primary background is AI/ML, data science, general software development, or cloud engineering without direct Oracle SCM technical experience will not be considered.
