Rack & Stack Lead – Data Center Infrastructure

Location: Dalton, GA – 100% Onsite

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Rack & Stack Lead to oversee onsite data center infrastructure deployment activities. The primary focus of this role is coordinating and leading the delivery, staging, rack installation, stacking, cabling, placement, and deployment of AI infrastructure and high-density server racks.

The Rack & Stack Lead will work closely with data center teams, engineers, logistics teams, and customer stakeholders to ensure deployments are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day rack and stack activities within the data center and warehouse.
• Coordinate the delivery, staging, movement, placement, and installation of server and AI infrastructure racks.
• Oversee racking, stacking, cabling, labeling, and physical installation activities.
• Coordinate with deployment engineers, data center technicians, facilities teams, logistics personnel, and carriers.
• Ensure rack installations follow approved layouts, elevations, deployment plans, and site requirements.
• Track rack deployment progress, dependencies, issues, and completion status.
• Maintain accurate deployment trackers, rack documentation, checklists, and installation records.
• Coordinate onsite resources and prioritize activities based on deployment schedules.
• Identify and escalate installation, logistics, or infrastructure-related issues.
• Provide daily status updates to project and deployment leadership.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of onsite deployment and rack installation challenges.
• Ensure proper handling and movement of equipment within the data center and warehouse.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, accuracy, and schedule adherence.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with data center rack and stack deployments.
• Experience in project management, deployment coordination, site operations, or infrastructure delivery.
• Experience working in or supporting data center operations and rack deployments.
• Experience leading or coordinating server, storage, networking, or AI infrastructure installations.
• Strong understanding of rack installation, stacking, cabling, labeling, and equipment placement.
• Experience working in large-scale data center environments.
• Ability to read and follow rack elevations, deployment plans, floor layouts, and installation documentation.
• Strong coordination and leadership skills with the ability to manage onsite deployment teams.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced onsite environment.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience supporting high-density or next-generation AI infrastructure deployments is highly desirable.
