Description:PURPOSE:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Specialist to support the implementation of Property Management Systems (PMS) and Central Reservation Systems (CRS) across the Hyatt Inclusive Collection portfolio. This role is critical to ensure successful system deployments by coordinating project timelines, preparing and validating hotel configuration data, delivering training, and supporting data migration efforts.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, hotel leadership, and external vendors. This role requires a balance of technical aptitude, hospitality operations knowledge, and strong communication skills to drive seamless system adoption across properties.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with corporate and regional stakeholders to align on transition timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
Develop, manage, and communicate detailed project plans and deployment schedules.
Coordinate closely with hotel leadership to ensure readiness for system implementation and adherence to timelines.
Support change management efforts by guiding stakeholders through system transitions and best practices.
Collect, review, and validate hotel configuration data in alignment with Hyatt standards and system requirements.
Support the build and deployment of Opera Cloud and CRS environments.
Assist with data migration activities to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Serve as a key liaison between hotels, internal Hyatt teams, and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
Participate in regular project meetings to track progress, address risks, and resolve issues.
Act as an escalation point for system-related questions or challenges during and post-implementation.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, training, and deployment efficiency.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices across the implementation team.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2+ years of hotel operations experience, with exposure to multiple functional areas preferred
Hands-on experience with, including Opera Cloud, CRS, and Sales & Revenue platforms
Experience working across multiple hotels, brands, or geographic regions
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
Experience in system implementations or change management initiatives
Strong technical aptitude and comfort working with hospitality technology platforms
EDUCATION:
College degree or equivalent work experience with a major hotel management company
