Position: Scala/Spark Engineer – Data Engineering & AI Workflows (Over 10+ exp)
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)- Prefer local candidates
FTE/Contract
Salary/hourly Pay rate: Market+ based on candidate experience

Job Description
We are looking for a Scala/Spark Engineer with strong Data Engineering experience and exposure to building AI-enabled data processing workflows.
Key Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience in Scala and Apache Spark
  • Solid background in Data Engineering, including building scalable data processing pipelines
  • Experience developing backend services and distributed data processing applications
  • Ability to build or integrate Agentic/AI workflows into data pipelines, incorporating AI processing steps where needed
  • Familiarity with modern AI/LLM frameworks and APIs is a plus
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience working on AI/ML-enabled data platforms or intelligent data pipelines
  • Exposure to workflow orchestration, cloud data platforms, and distributed systems is desirable
