Job Description
Our client, a leading university, has a rare opportunity for an experienced Immigration & Global Mobility Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment. This role is critical in supporting the organisation's talent strategy by delivering end-to-end, compliant and cost-effective mobility solutions, enabling seamless international talent movement while enhancing employee experience. Acting as a strategic partner to both local and global stakeholders, you will navigate the complexities of immigration and global mobility, using your expertise to drive hiring, retention, and the successful deployment of key talent across regions.
Main Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end immigration processes, including visa applications, sponsorship, and compliance in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure full compliance with Australian immigration laws, regulations, and internal governance frameworks, mitigating risk across all cases
- Provide expert, practical advice to leaders and employees on visa requirements, policy interpretation, and immigration risk management
- Manage complex and high-risk immigration cases, delivering timely, solutions-focused outcomes
- Partner with HR, Legal, Payroll, and external providers to ensure seamless and compliant immigration service delivery
- Lead and develop a small team while driving continuous improvement across immigration processes and employee experience
- Proven experience in immigration and global mobility within large, complex organisations.
- Strong knowledge of Australian immigration legislation and visa processes.
- Ability to manage end-to-end mobility programs and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- Excellent communication, influence, and customer-centric skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
