Epicor Kinetic Technical Consultant

Day to Day:

• Assess and optimize the Epicor Kinetic environment following the E9 migration.
• Evaluate current security architecture and establish Kinetic security best practices around business objects, Service Security, menus, groups, roles, and user permissions.
• Strengthen Segregation of Duties (SOD) controls and develop more detailed reporting that clearly identifies specific access conflicts for recurring audits.
• Improve and automate SOD conflict identification rather than relying on current blanket error reporting and manual review.
• Address Service Security/API access concerns and establish appropriate access based on user roles and clearance levels.
• Streamline the current manual process for provisioning individual user access.
• Optimize Epicor Inventory and Supply Chain Management functionality and related processes.
• Support broader platform optimization, troubleshooting, and technical improvements as needs are identified.
• Help improve user adoption and ensure teams are effectively utilizing Kinetic functionality.
• Partner with IT to transfer knowledge and establish a more sustainable approach to ongoing Kinetic administration and security.

Musts:

• Strong hands-on Epicor Kinetic technical experience.
• Deep understanding of Epicor security, Service Security, business objects, menus, groups, roles, and permissions.
• Experience with Segregation of Duties, access controls, security reporting, and audit requirements.
• Experience supporting or optimizing environments migrated from Epicor E9 to Kinetic.
• Strong understanding of Epicor Inventory and Supply Chain Management functionality.
• Ability to independently assess an existing Kinetic environment, identify gaps, and implement practical improvements.
• Comfortable providing flexible, hands-on support across security, platform optimization, user adoption, and ongoing technical needs.
• Willing and able to travel occasionally for critical project milestones/events.
