Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Location: Denver, CO (Onsite) _ Locals

Required Certifications (Mandatory)

Responsibilities

Lead multiple large-scale IT projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status reports.
Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and executive leadership.
Manage project scope, timelines, resources, dependencies, and deliverables.
Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and change requests.
Facilitate project meetings, steering committee presentations, and executive status updates.
Ensure compliance with State PMO standards, governance, and documentation requirements.
Track project performance using KPIs and project management tools.
Support procurement activities, contract management, and vendor coordination.
Mentor junior project managers and promote project management best practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years of IT Project Management experience.
Managing large enterprise or government projects.
Strong experience with SDLC, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
Experience managing budgets, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, or Smartsheet.
Experience preparing executive presentations and project status reports.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working with State Government or other public-sector agencies.
Experience managing cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, ERP, or digital transformation projects.
Knowledge of procurement, vendor management, and government compliance processes.
Experience with PMO governance and portfolio management.
