Job Summary

The Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for leading the technical team in the development and delivery of Java, Node.js, and Microservices solutions on Amazon Web Services. The role involves providing technical guidance, driving best practices, and ensuring successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the design, development, and deployment of Java, Node.js, and Microservices applications on Amazon Web Services.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and resolve complex technical issues.
3. Mentor and coach team members on technical aspects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
4. Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to maintain scalability and efficiency.
5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and technologies.
6. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Java, Node.js, Microservices, and Amazon Web Services.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in Java programming and development.
2. Strong expertise in Node.js and its runtime environment.
3. Experience in designing and implementing Microservices architecture.
4. In-depth knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services.

Build production-grade microservices that integrate enterprise APIs with various channels, fraud, sanctions, GL, and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop event-driven services on Kafka/MSK with high throughput and low latency.
• Implement API integrations, contract tests, and observability instrumentation.
• Deliver CI/CD-ready, secure code with policy-as-code and infrastructure-as-code.
• Partner with technical teams on dual-write and rollback paths.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Java/Kotlin or Go.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, AWS EKS, Lambda, MSK, and DynamoDB.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry, Pact contract testing, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of Secure SDLC and production-grade engineering practices.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience with API integrations.
• Experience with ISO 20022 pacs/pain message handling.
• Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code.

Additional Details
