Role Summary
This role requires a senior-level professional with extensive experience in auditing, quality control, and quality assurance. The successful candidate will oversee compliance and certification processes, ensuring adherence to federal standards and client requirements. This position involves coordinating with various stakeholders to maintain high standards of quality and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits and quality assessments for Department of War activities based on ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Lead and manage quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with federal and contractual requirements.
- Develop and implement quality control processes, including risk assessments and job analysis.
- Review and evaluate procurement, logistics, and service contracts for adherence to quality standards.
- Facilitate audits related to invoicing, service delivery, and contractual compliance.
- Maintain and update audit documentation and quality assurance records in SharePoint and other government platforms.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders for audit planning and reporting.
- Provide training and guidance on quality standards and audit procedures to team members.
- Monitor ongoing compliance activities and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for senior management and government agencies.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of auditing, quality control, and/or quality assurance experience, with at least 50% within the Department of War (Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard).
- OR, 10 years of relevant experience with successful completion of the ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Course and at least 50% experience within the Department of War.
- OR, 5 years of relevant experience with at least 50% within the Department of War.
- ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification, with expertise in ISO 9001:2015 auditing, procurement, job analysis, risk-based auditing, and logistics auditing.
- Demonstrated experience aligning past responsibilities with auditing and quality assurance activities in the Department of War.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government acquisition platforms such as SharePoint and SMT.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to pass pre-employment qualifications required by the client, a federal systems integrator.
Publishing Pay Range: $78,000.00 - $94,000.00 annually
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
