Title: Senior Business Analyst (Workday Financials)
Duration: 6 months
Location: Remote
Role/Job Summary:
We are looking for a Business Analyst Senior to act as a liaison among stakeholders, eliciting, analyzing, communicating, and validating requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems. The role's primary focus is understanding business problems and opportunities and recommending solutions that help the organization achieve its goals. Working under the general direction of a Business Analyst Manager/Program Manager, this person will lead and direct analysis activities for high-priority projects requiring a high degree of functional integration, with a specific focus on the Workday Financials module (including its sub-modules).
Must-Have Skills:
• Minimum 7–10 years of business analysis experience working in a development environment.
• Hands-on experience capturing requirements from business stakeholders for the Workday Financials module, including its sub-modules; experience creating BRDs and features in ADO/Agile, and walking through requirements during refinement sessions with larger Scrum teams.
• Workday integrations experience (Studio, Extend, EIB).
• Agile experience, preferably in SAFe Agile.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Knowledge of defect tracking processes and tools.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and consult effectively with employees at all levels.
• Strong interviewing, listening, observation, and oral communication skills to surface essential requirements information.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish requirements from solution ideas and underlying needs.
• Facilitation, organizational, and time-management skills to lead elicitation workshops and manage multiple tasks and rapidly changing information.
• Excellent writing, modeling, and interpersonal skills to communicate requirements and negotiate priorities across internal and external stakeholders.
• General knowledge of business and IT systems, with strong attention to detail, motivation, and initiative.
