Position - NoSQL DBA with Oracle Linux Automation Manager
Location - Remote
Duration - 12 Months Contract

Job Description:
Seeking a highly experienced NoSQL Database Administrator with strong hands-on experience supporting NoSQL databases across Linux and Kubernetes environments. The role focuses on database administration, automation, performance tuning, upgrades, patching, and production support.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience administering at least two NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Neo4j, SingleStore, or StarDog.
• Experience with NoSQL databases running on Linux VMs and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with Ansible automation and Oracle Linux Automation Manager (OLAM).
• Experience developing Ansible/OLAM playbooks for database provisioning, configuration, patching, upgrades, and administration.
• Experience with Neo4j and/or StarDog is preferred.
• Experience managing production and non-production database environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, break-fix, migration, upgrade, configuration, and patching experience.
• Experience with database clustering, replication, multi-datacenter configurations, and high availability.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, backup/recovery, monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Experience with database security, connectivity, and role management.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and Spec-Driven Development (SDD) for automation is a plus.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience with a Master''s degree or 12+ years with a Bachelor''s degree preferred.
