Citizen Digital Foundation (CDF) is a non-profit organisation based in Trivandrum, Kerala, dedicated to promoting safe and responsible navigation and innovation in the digital ecosystem. CDF works to influence systems changes to maximise the advantages and minimise the harms of existing and emerging digital technologies. CDF's work encompasses projects and knowledge solutions aimed at addressing issues of online child safety, privacy, behaviour manipulation, mental health distress, power concentrations in tech design etc., for various private and public stakeholders including students, educators, parents, media, technologists, entrepreneurs, policy makers and other government entities. Role Description

The Project Coordinator will report to the Research Associate and support the planning, execution, and monitoring of programs and communications, as assigned.

  • Coordinate projects and all related collaterals with stakeholders - CSOs, educational institutions, MSMEs, government bodies among others
  • Coordinate multiple CDF projects at a time, with tasks ranging from research, planning, communications, stakeholder management, implementation, analysis, and end to end documentation.
  • Systematically maintain compliance, MIS reports, fund utilisation reports etc. for the projects.
  • Budgeting - Draft and organise projections for each project, track actual buys and spends, maintain invoices and see payments through. Collaborate with financial/accounting verticals for seamless and error-proof execution.
  • Learn and maintain CRM communications, newsletters, periodic stakeholder updates. Manage partnerships effectively, and with sensitivity, through field visits, calls, LinkedIn conversations etc.
  • Identify suitable vendors and stakeholders for the execution of each project and negotiate logistics, costs, payment windows with them.
  • Drive execution of thematic meets, workshops, training programs, etc.
  • Maintain prompt, transparent, and proactive internal communications at all times.


The ideal candidate would have:

  • Master's degree in any Arts & Humanities subject.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Malayalam.
  • Ability to build relationships, and network with ease.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, highly organised, and detail-oriented.
  • Adaptability, and autonomous working abilities.
  • High levels of resourcefulness. A knack of knowing where and how to look for solutions of a problem and coming up with creative ways of resolving them.
  • On-the-feet, smart, proactive thinking; an open and 'can-do' attitude.
  • Proficiency in Canva, MS PowerPoint, project management tools like Whimsical/Monday/Meister/Trello.
  • Competence with MS Office, Google Drive, online information search etc.
  • Prior experience in project coordination, community outreach, or program management in nonprofit, education, or social impact sectors is an advantage.

Salary: Up to 3 LPA depending on experience and skills.
