Business Solutions Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Solutions Engineer in Georgetown, TX.

Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Solutions Engineer who enjoys solving complex business problems with technology. This role is ideal for a well-rounded technologist who can work directly with stakeholders, identify inefficiencies, design practical solutions, and help drive projects from concept through implementation. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with strong communication skills and a passion for improving business processes.

Key Tasks:
* Partner with business teams to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities for improvement
* Design and implement solutions involving automation, integrations, cloud technologies, APIs, databases, and AI-enabled tools
* Build and maintain applications, workflows, and integrations that improve productivity and streamline operations
* Translate business requirements into technical solutions and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Develop and support cloud-based and on-premises solutions across a variety of technologies
* Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, from discovery and design through deployment and adoption
* Troubleshoot issues, improve existing systems, and continuously optimize processes
* Document solutions and provide knowledge transfer to business and technical teams

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of hands-on technology experience
* Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience
* Python development experience, including automation and integrations
* Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
* Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including routing, firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity concepts
* Experience working with relational databases and SQL
* Experience building, consuming, or integrating APIs
* Ability to independently manage projects and deliver solutions from idea to implementation

* Background supporting retail, franchise, hospitality, or multi-location organizations

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
