Job Description

HYBRID MODEL - 3 days onsite - 2 days remote

Note:

  • Client wants PM + Scrum Master with Technical Writing/Diagramming experience and someone who has been in the US for a while, not someone who is in India or recently moved here.
  • This role supports the Cloud Migration Program, with ownership of project governance and stakeholder coordination.
  • This would require a strong understanding of enterprise systems and knowledge of enterprise technology stacks.
  • Experience within the banking domain is good to have.
  • The individual will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and core SMEs to ensure structured execution and smooth navigation of the end-to-end cloud migration lifecycle.
  • As a  software project manager your are responsible for overseeing the development, testing, and deployment of software applications.
  • Ensure that projects are completed within budget, on time, and to the satisfaction of clients or stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Developing and managing project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
  • Team Management: Managing a team of software developers, quality assurance analysts, and other team members involved in the project.
  • Communication: Ensuring effective communication between the project team, stakeholders, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring that software applications meet quality standards and are tested thoroughly before release.
  • Documentation: Ensuring that project documentation is up-to-date and that all project stakeholders have access to it.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitoring project progress, ensuring that the project is on track, and making necessary adjustments as needed.
  • Change Management: Managing changes to project scope, schedule, or budget, and ensuring that changes are approved by all stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Providing regular project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Customer Service: Ensuring customer satisfaction with the final software product and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Requirements for the job may vary depending on the organization, but generally, a software project manager should have:
  • A bachelor''s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in software development, with a focus on project management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience with project management tools and software, such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Overall, you are  responsible for ensuring that software projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
  • Play a critical role in the success of software development projects and must be skilled in managing teams, communicating effectively, and problem-solving.
