Job Summary

The Healthcare Provider SME Lead serves as the subject matter expert for provider operations, clinical and business workflows, healthcare regulations, and digital transformation initiatives. This role bridges business and technology teams to optimize care delivery, operational performance, regulatory compliance, analytics, and healthcare modernization programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expertise on healthcare provider operations, clinical workflows, revenue cycle, care management, and population health.
• Partner with clinical, operational, technology, and analytics teams to define business requirements and solutions.
• Lead healthcare transformation, interoperability, and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure alignment with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and industry best practices.
• Support analytics, reporting, AI, and data-driven decision-making initiatives.
• Drive adoption of healthcare standards including FHIR, HL7, and clinical terminologies.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, and technology teams.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and stakeholder engagement across provider-focused programs.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of healthcare provider, hospital, or health system experience.
• 5+ years in a leadership, consulting, or SME role.
• Strong understanding of clinical operations, revenue cycle, population health, and healthcare regulations.
• Experience supporting healthcare technology, analytics, interoperability, or transformation initiatives.
