IT Project Manager IV – Finance AI Initiatives

Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid (2 days onsite)

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support Finance AI initiatives within a Corporate Financial Systems organization. This role offers high executive visibility and requires strong project governance, executive communication, and hands-on experience with AI-enabled solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Agile/Scrum project delivery, including sprint planning, backlog management, and cross-functional coordination.
• Develop polished, executive-ready PowerPoint presentations and leadership materials.
• Manage project plans, milestones, budgets, resources, risks, and issues.
• Communicate project status, decisions, risks, and recommendations effectively to senior leadership.
• Support AI use cases, go-lives, testing, rollout planning, and governance.
• Coordinate technology teams and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills:

• Strong PowerPoint and executive presentation skills.
• Proven Agile/Scrum project management experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong project planning, governance, budget, and risk management experience.

Preferred:

• PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification.
• Finance-function experience such as accounting, controllership, or treasury.
• Understanding of RPA vs. AI/agentic AI, human-in-the-loop design, and phased rollout strategies.
• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Business, Business Administration, or related field.
