We are looking for Java Developer for our client in New York City, NY

Job Title: Java Developer

Job Location: New York City, NY

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $45.00hr - $50.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 7+ years of strong hands-on enterprise level app development experience with Core Java and Spring boot.
  • 5+ years of strong hands-on experience with Angular (High performance, Responsive, Initiative GUI).
  • Hands-on experience with Relational Databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or UDB/DB2.
  • Experience with Relational Data Modeling, Complex Queries, and Performance Tuning.
  • Strong hands-on experience working on Microservices, Kafka, and REST API Development.
  • Good understanding of full stack application architecture, Restful API, microservices, and system integration patterns.
  • Experience in modernizing or re-writing legacy applications to modernized distributed platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop enterprise-level applications using Core Java and Spring boot.
  • Create high-performance and responsive GUIs using Angular.
  • Manage relational data modeling and perform query tuning.
  • Develop and integrate Microservices and REST APIs.
  • Modernize legacy applications into distributed platforms.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with AI Assisted spec driven development tools for code generation, testing, and documentation.
  • Working experience in Alternatives, Private Market, Banking, or Financial/Wealth management domains.
  • Python experience.
  • Hands-on experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
