Design Release Engineer

10–15+ yrs Automotive + Body Electronics + DRE + Electrical + ECU ownership + OEM/Tier 1 experience.

The candidate must be a true Body Electronics DRE/Engineering Owner.
They should have owned the electrical/electronic product from concept → design → supplier → validation → launch → production, rather than simply working in testing, integration, calibration, software, wiring, or manufacturing.

• 10–15+ years of automotive Body Electronics experience
• Strong Electrical background — not Mechanical
• Must have worked as a Design & Release Engineer (DRE)
• Must have owned Body Electronics/ECU products end-to-end from design through production launch
• Experience with BCM, Door Modules, Keyless Entry, Lighting, HVAC, TPMS, Parking Brake, Sensors/Actuators, etc.
• Strong experience working with Tier 1 suppliers and OEM engineering teams
• Experience with hardware + embedded software
• OEM experience preferred — Ford, GM, Stellantis, VW, Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, Scout, etc.
