Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer with strong Guardicore Microsegmentation expertise to design, implement, and manage network security solutions across enterprise, virtual, physical, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Guardicore, microsegmentation policy development, agent deployment, automation, and integration with enterprise security and DevOps frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in Java and security automation.
• Configure and manage the Guardicore SaaS tenant.
• Configure the Guardicore Aggregator for Active Directory connectivity.
• Configure and troubleshoot Guardicore Microsegmentation agents across virtual and physical servers and container environments.
• Design, build, and implement Guardicore microsegmentation policies to secure workloads and reduce attack surfaces.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Guardicore agents across servers, endpoints, and multi-cloud environments.
• Utilize Guardicore for network visualization, traffic analysis, application dependency mapping, and policy creation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional security, infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps teams to integrate microsegmentation with existing security frameworks and workflows.
• Develop scripts and automation for policy management, labeling, and operational activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, configurations, and security procedures in alignment with applicable regulatory and compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot Guardicore implementation and connectivity issues across complex enterprise environments.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Guardicore / Akamai Guardicore Segmentation.
• Experience configuring Guardicore SaaS Tenant and Aggregator.
• Experience with Active Directory integration.
• Strong knowledge of Guardicore agent deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience designing and implementing microsegmentation security policies.
• Experience securing workloads across virtual, physical, cloud, and container environments.
• Technical expertise in Java.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities.
• Experience with network visualization and application dependency mapping.
• Ability to work effectively with security, infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience leveraging AI to enhance security workflows and operational processes.
• Experience with cloud/container platforms such as:
  • OpenStack
  • OpenShift
  • Kubernetes
• Experience with ServiceNow integration and automation.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and security framework integration.
• Experience with enterprise regulatory and compliance requirements.
