Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join a Healthcare organization's Enterprise Data team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale data warehouse solutions, ETL pipelines, and data integration processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, T-SQL, data modeling, and modern data engineering practices. Experience in Healthcare data environments and Azure DevOps is highly preferred.

This is a hybrid onsite position in Anaheim, CA, and candidates must be local to Los Angeles or Orange County.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehouse development.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and advanced T-SQL programming.
• Hands-on experience developing SSIS ETL solutions.
• Strong background in Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, Data Integration, and Data Pipelines.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale data warehouse solutions.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD.
• Strong knowledge of database design, metadata management, master data management, and data governance.
• Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall  environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to create and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• Self-starter with the ability to reverse engineer and support existing ETL processes.

• Healthcare industry experience.
• Experience with Talend ETL/Data Integration.
• Knowledge of Data Virtualization architecture and concepts.
• Experience implementing data architectures with separation of storage and compute.
• Experience with data quality frameworks and validation processes.

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions.
• Develop and optimize SSIS packages and ETL workflows.
• Build scalable data pipelines for enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Design and maintain dimensional and normalized data models.
• Develop advanced SQL and T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, metadata management, and master data consistency.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Data Architects to implement scalable data architecture.
• Support CI/CD deployments using Azure DevOps.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize ETL performance.
• Produce technical documentation and participate in design reviews.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, BI teams, and application developers.
