About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and execution-focused Manager - Investor Relations & Strategic Finance to work directly with the Founder & CEO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial modeling, fundraising support, investor communications, grant management, and strategic business planning. This role requires excellent financial acumen, strong presentation skills, and the ability to coordinate with investors, government agencies, and internal stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Business Strategy

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models and business plans.
  • Prepare revenue projections, valuation models, and unit economics.
  • Build business cases for new products, market expansion, and strategic initiatives.
  • Support strategic planning and long-term growth initiatives.


Investor Relations

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports for existing investors.
  • Develop investor presentations, board decks, and fundraising documents.
  • Coordinate investor meetings and maintain regular communication.
  • Respond to investor queries and provide financial and operational updates.
  • Track key performance indicators and business metrics.


Fundraising

  • Identify and research potential Venture Capital, Private Equity, Family Offices, Corporate Investors, and Strategic Investors.
  • Reach out to prospective investors and schedule fundraising meetings.
  • Support end-to-end fundraising activities including due diligence.
  • Coordinate documentation required during investment transactions.
  • Assist in preparing term sheet discussions and investment documentation.


Data Room Management

  • Create, organize, and maintain virtual data rooms.
  • Ensure financial, legal, compliance, HR, IP, regulatory, and operational documents remain updated.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for timely document collection.
  • Maintain confidentiality and version control of all documents.


Grant & Government Funding

  • Identify relevant national and international grants.
  • Prepare and submit grant applications.
  • Coordinate with technical teams for proposal preparation.
  • Maintain grant reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Track grant timelines, milestones, and deliverables.


Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Prepare management dashboards and MIS reports.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance.
  • Monitor fundraising pipeline and grant opportunities.
  • Generate reports for senior management and Board meetings.


Required Qualifications

  • MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA / Chartered Accountant / Master's in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 4-8 years of experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, Consulting, Startup Finance, or Strategic Planning.
  • Experience working with startups, healthcare, MedTech, or technology companies is preferred.


Required Skills

  • Strong financial modeling and valuation expertise.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience preparing investor decks and pitch presentations.
  • Knowledge of startup fundraising processes.
  • Understanding of venture capital and private equity ecosystems.
  • Strong analytical and business research skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.


Preferred Experience

  • Experience managing fundraising rounds from Seed to Series A/B.
  • Experience with grant applications (BIRAC, DST, MeitY, ICMR, CSR, WHO, Gates Foundation, UNICEF, USAID, etc.).
  • Familiarity with virtual data room platforms.
  • Exposure to healthcare or MedTech regulations is an advantage.
