Corporate Development Associate

About the Opportunity: Our client is a long-term investment and operating platform that partners with middle-market businesses to drive growth through acquisitions, strategic initiatives, and operational improvements. The Corporate Development team sits at the intersection of investing, strategy, and operations, providing team members with the opportunity to evaluate acquisitions while also working directly with management teams to execute growth initiatives and create long-term value. This is not a traditional deal-only role. Successful candidates will have an interest in both transaction execution and broader business strategy.

The Corporate Development Associate will be responsible for:

  • Evaluate acquisition and investment opportunities
  • Build and maintain complex financial models and valuation analyses
  • Conduct due diligence and support transaction execution
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and growth opportunities
  • Develop strategic recommendations for operating businesses
  • Partner directly with management teams on operational and growth initiatives
  • Support integration efforts for newly acquired companies
  • Prepare investment memoranda and executive presentations
  • Work closely with senior leadership on high-impact strategic projects

The Ideal Candidate has:

  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
  • 3-4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, or Consultancy.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Interest in both M&A and broader business strategy
