Fund Controller

The Opportunity

For our client, a highly regarded international investment manager based in Amsterdam, we are seeking a Fund Controller to join their growing finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the financial management and operations of multiple investment funds, working closely with teams across Investments, Legal, Finance, and Investor Relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial operations and fund accounting of multiple investment funds.
• Manage capital calls, investor drawdowns, distributions, and fund cash flows.
• Support fund valuations, NAV calculations, and investor reporting processes.
• Prepare fund financial statements and assist with annual audits and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain relationships with investors, auditors, administrators, and other external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient fund operations and reporting.
• Identify and implement improvements to fund processes, controls, and reporting frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience within fund accounting, fund control, audit, or financial services.
• Experience preparing financial statements and supporting audit processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proactive, hands-on, and ownership-driven approach.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Dutch language proficiency is required.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
