Job type: Permanent
Location: Bristol (hybrid, regular on-site required)



Overview


A permanent opportunity for a Systems Engineer (Commissioning & Integration) to join an organisation delivering complex engineering programmes in a regulated environment. The role focuses on supporting commissioning readiness, integration activity, and improving ways of working through structured problem-solving and practical investigation.



Key responsibilities

  • Supporting commissioning readiness and integration activity for delivered equipment
  • Working with engineering and production stakeholders to develop/maintain procedures and resolve issues
  • Identifying improvement opportunities across process, tools and workflow
  • Supporting configuration and change activities to maintain controlled baselines
  • Running investigations and trials to validate fixes and improvements


What you'll bring

  • Systems engineering experience in complex products/environments
  • Ability to work across disciplines (engineering, production, test, support)
  • Familiarity with configuration control and/or hardware/software integration challenges (useful)
  • Clear documentation skills and a methodical approach to problem solving
