Salary range: $137,551.0 - $154,055.0

In this role, you'll:
  • Work as part of a team delivering enterprise grade BI, analytics and data driven insights across Transport for NSW.
  • Develop, enhance and maintain BI reports, dashboards, data models and visualisations to support decision making.
  • Design and refine dimensional models and reporting structures using best practice BI standards.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements and resolve data or reporting issues.
  • Deliver intuitive, accurate and user focused BI products in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Embed data quality, governance and continuous improvement practices.
  • Leverage emerging analytical technologies to improve efficiency, insights and customer outcomes.
  • Bring strong expertise in BI development, data modelling, analytics and data visualisation.
  • Navigate complex stakeholder needs and deliver high quality reporting solutions.
  • Communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Collaborate well within multi disciplinary and matrixed teams.
  • Turn data into meaningful, actionable insights.
  • Have experience delivering BI solutions in large organisations.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in data analytics, BI or a related field.
  • Experience creating visualisations using Tableau, Power BI or similar BI tools.
  • Knowledge of data visualisation design principles, standards and best practices.
  • Understanding of data warehousing, analytics and reporting processes.
  • Experience with data preparation, integration and resolving quality issues.
  • Understanding of spatial data concepts, including geospatial formats and projection standards.
