Job Title: Senior EDI Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior EDI Developer with strong expertise in IBM Sterling Integrator (v5.2.6 or above) to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise EDI integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in EDI mapping, business process development, API integrations, and IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, along with the ability to provide technical leadership across integration projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis, solution design, development, testing, and defect resolution for EDI integration projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain EDI integrations using IBM Sterling Integrator.
• Lead the technical execution of EDI and API integration projects.
• Translate solution architecture into scalable and maintainable technical implementations.
• Develop and maintain business processes, EDI maps, and integration workflows.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to development standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production and integration issues.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams to deliver high-quality integration solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve delivery efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator (v5.2.6 or higher).
• Strong experience developing, supporting, monitoring, and maintaining EDI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Business Process development in IBM Sterling Integrator.
• Extensive experience with EDI mapping and file transformations including:
• ANSI X12
• EDIFACT
• XML
• cXML
• CSV
• JSON
• Flat Files
• Strong knowledge of communication protocols:
• AS2
• FTP
• SFTP
• VAN
• Experience with:
• DB2 and SQL
• XML and XSLT
• REST APIs
• Web Services
• Strong understanding of EDI architecture, security, and enterprise integration patterns.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Hands-on IBM Sterling Integrator expert with enterprise EDI implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of B2B integration architecture and API integrations.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor development teams.
• Experience delivering complex EDI solutions in enterprise environments.
