Data Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Architect in Irving, TX.

Duties:
* Data Architect will design and build relational database models and define data requirements to meet the business needs
* Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of databases
* Foster value creation from the use of the internal organization's data assets, as well as from the external data ecosystem
* Source the value through envisioning data-enabled strategies as well as enabling all forms of business outcomes through analytics, data and analytics governance, and enterprise information policy

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or Applied Mathematics, or equivalent work experience
* Ten or more years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:
* Strong experience in analytics, advanced analytics/statistics, predictive modeling, machine learning, data visualization
* Strong experience and expertise in Java, SQL and Azure Cloud technologies
* Good experience and expertise in Synapse, Presto, Spark SQL, Druid, SuperSet
* Prior experience in Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Azure Spark pool and building/managing large scale data warehouse is a plus
* Previous experience in building data products
* Experience in python/R/SAS/SQL for data extraction, data mining, and predictive analytic
* Very knowledgeable in Apache Airflow
* Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
* Proficient understanding of algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns and best practices
* Effective communication, presentation, leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
