Job Description

We are looking for a highly driven and strategically minded Brand Strategist to join our digital-first agency. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, an insightful thinker, and an exceptional storyteller who can transform business challenges into compelling brand and digital strategies.

This role requires a blend of analytical rigor and creative thinking, with hands-on experience in developing integrated digital strategies, conducting market and competitor research, supporting new business development, and presenting strategic recommendations to prospective and existing clients.

The Brand Strategist will play a critical role in shaping client growth plans, developing pitch-winning strategic narratives, and collaborating closely with creative, media, content, and performance marketing teams.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Brand Development

  • Develop comprehensive brand, marketing, and digital strategies aligned with client business objectives.
  • Identify growth opportunities through market analysis, consumer insights, category trends, and digital behavior.
  • Create strategic frameworks, positioning statements, messaging architectures, and campaign approaches.
  • Translate complex business challenges into actionable marketing and communication strategies.
  • Build integrated strategic recommendations spanning content, social media, influencer marketing, performance marketing, CRM, and commerce.

Research & Insights

  • Conduct primary and secondary research to uncover consumer, category, and cultural insights.
  • Analyze market trends, audience behavior, industry developments, and emerging digital opportunities.
  • Perform detailed competitor benchmarking and digital audits across social, content, media, and commerce ecosystems.
  • Synthesize research findings into clear strategic recommendations and actionable insights.

New Business & Pitch Development

  • Lead strategic thinking for new business opportunities and agency pitches.
  • Develop compelling pitch narratives that address client challenges and growth objectives.
  • Work closely with creative and business teams to craft differentiated agency solutions.
  • Build strategic sections of pitch presentations, including market analysis, audience insights, opportunity mapping, and communication strategy.
  • Support senior leadership during pitch preparation and client presentations.

Presentation & Client Engagement

  • Create polished, visually structured, and persuasive strategic presentations.
  • Present strategic recommendations confidently to prospective and existing clients.
  • Facilitate strategy workshops, discovery sessions, and client discussions.
  • Defend strategic recommendations with data, insights, and business rationale.
  • Build credibility and trust with stakeholders across multiple levels of client organizations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with creative, content, performance marketing, media, design, and account management teams to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Provide strategic guidance throughout campaign planning and execution.
  • Ensure strategic integrity is maintained from concept through delivery.
  • 4-7 years of experience in brand strategy, digital strategy, planning, consulting, or a similar role within an agency environment.
