We're Hiring on behalf of our client for Sr AI Engineer
Location: 100% Onsite in Newport Beach, CA (Local canddiates only)
Compensation: Up to 80/hr W2 only (DOE)
Terms: Contract-to-hire

• Build and maintain scalable, high-quality Python applications, APIs, and microservices.


• Lead end-to-end development of web solutions with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver new features.


• Apply cloud-native and API-first design principles.


• Optimize systems for speed, scalability, and maintainability.


• Ensure code quality through test-driven development (TDD) and best practices.


• Mentor developers and foster continuous improvement.


• Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate them where relevant.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.


• 7+ years of full-stack development experience, primarily in Python.


• 3+ years building enterprise-grade RAG solutions with modern LLMs.


• 1+ year designing multi-agent AI systems using advanced reasoning models.


• 3+ years developing multimodal document ingestion pipelines.


• 2+ years building evaluation pipelines for LLMOps.


• Experience with Python frameworks (Django, Flask) and OOP principles.


• Proficiency with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CosmosDB).


• Experience integrating microservices with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).


• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).


• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.


• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.


• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.


• Experience building LLM applications (OpenAI, Llama, or similar).
