- Monitor quality and quantities of incoming equipment and material, check work drawings, construction and specifications against site plans and conditions and arrange corrections or modifications where necessary
- Responsible to develop and implement procedures to achieve quality, safety, timely production and compliance with budgets.
- Undertake quantitative and qualitative safety, environment, and quality risk assessment to ensure acceptable quality of structures and finishes
- Assign work and assist with reviews for accuracy and adherence to required standards of supplier, subcontractor quotations/purchase orders as well as subcontractor arrangements
- Write, review and present construction methods to relevant stakeholders
- Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions
- Develop construction methods and engineering concepts to safely and cost effectively deliver packages of work
- Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, or similar field
- Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience. Construction site experience is desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of TBM excavation techniques
- Detailed knowledge of geology and structural engineering
- Understanding of the Quality Management Plan, Safety Management Plan, Environmental Management Plan and Projects Design Management Plan
- Ability to manage and mentor a team of engineers

We are keen to hear from candidates with proven infrastructure project experience or experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Contractor to be a part of an iconic construction project in Melbourne, Victoria. We also will consider applicants that are seeking to enter or re-enter the industry.
