Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, routing & switching, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, and network monitoring. The candidate should be capable of troubleshooting complex network issues, ensuring high availability, and implementing network security best practices. Typical responsibilities include installing, configuring, monitoring, securing, and troubleshooting enterprise LAN/WAN environments.
Required Skills
- 6–8+ years of experience as a Network Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong experience with:
- Cisco Routers & Switches
- LAN/WAN administration
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP
- VPN technologies (Site-to-Site & Remote Access)
- Cisco ASA/Firepower Firewalls
- Network Security
- Experience with:
- Wireless Networking (Cisco Wireless)
- Network Monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Wireshark)
- Active Directory and Windows Server administration
- Network documentation and topology diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting skills for network performance and connectivity issues.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery processes.
- Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Check Point Firewalls.
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies.
- Basic Azure or AWS networking knowledge.
- Scripting experience using PowerShell or Python.
- Experience with VMware networking.
- Knowledge of Network Access Control (NAC).
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
- Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless controllers.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity and performance issues.
- Perform firmware upgrades, patching, and configuration backups.
- Implement network security policies and access controls.
- Coordinate with system administrators, security teams, and vendors.
- Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams.
- Participate in on-call support and network maintenance activities.
- Ensure network compliance with organizational security standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications preferred:
- CCNA (Preferred)
- CCNP (Highly Preferred)
- CompTIA Network+
- Excellent analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
