D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant - Portugal Workstream

Location: UK-based (Remote)
Contract: Initial 6-Month Contract
Rate: £500 per day (Outside IR35)

We are working with a Microsoft Dynamics delivery partner supporting an international D365 Finance & Operations programme for a global manufacturing organisation.

They are looking for an experienced D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant to support the Portugal finance workstream as part of a wider multi-country rollout.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong D365 Finance experience who has previously supported Portuguese finance localisation, working closely with finance stakeholders, delivery teams and business users throughout implementation, testing and go-live.

• D365 F&O Finance Functional Consulting experience
• Strong understanding of core Finance processes
• General Ledger
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Fixed Assets
• Cash & Bank Management
• Tax/VAT
• Financial Dimensions
• Account Structures
• Posting Profiles
• Month-end/Period-end processes
• Finance reporting
• Requirements gathering
• Stakeholder workshops
• Fit-gap analysis
• Functional documentation
• UAT, testing and go-live support

Essential experience:

• Previous experience supporting a Portugal D365 F&O implementation or rollout
• Experience with Portuguese localisation
• SAF-T
• Portuguese VAT/IVA
• Portuguese statutory reporting
• Working alongside local finance teams and business stakeholders

The client is looking for someone who can quickly integrate into an established delivery team and support the successful delivery of the Portugal finance workstream. Previous experience supporting Portuguese localisation within D365 Finance is considered essential.
