Manufacturing Associate

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in New Albany, OH. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This is a 100% onsite role. The initial shift is Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with expected overtime on Saturdays approximately twice a month. After six months, the employee will move to a rotating shift schedule and must be flexible to work any shift as assigned. The successful candidate will work in a team environment to keep high-speed, semi-automated packaging equipment loaded with components and functional.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving and preparing components for use in manufacturing
• Feeding components into equipment and performing sanitation activities
• Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and applicable regulations
• Reporting any discrepancies to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor to ensure quality standards and safety
• Ensuring quality and compliance through a Right First-Time mentality
• Documenting appropriate paperwork and understanding Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)/performance metrics
• Participating in daily performance meetings
• Using pallet jacks and manually wrapping pallets
• Using computer systems to support material inventory and electronic batch records
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to drive improvement opportunities
• Ensuring components and products are available for continuous operation

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED and 1 year of work or military experience, OR an Associate's degree
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Must be flexible to work any assigned shift after the initial six-month period
• Strong communication skills

Desired skills:

• Experience working in pharmaceutical, food and beverage, or other manufacturing environments

Pay range: up to $23.29 per hour
