SEN Teaching Assistant
to join a welcoming and supportive school in Worthing. This is a rewarding opportunity to help pupils with special educational needs achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with special educational needs. Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons. Support pupils with their academic, social, emotional, and personal development. Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies. Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents. Encourage independence, confidence, and participation in school life. About You
A caring, patient, and positive attitude. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential. Knowledge of SEN, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or SEMH, is advantageous. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
