Hiring: Senior Mainframe DBB Developer

Location: Remote United States

Required Skills MUST :

Strong experience in Mainframe Development

Hands-on experience with:

COBOL

JCL

DB2

VSAM

CICS

Experience with IBM Developer for z/OS (IDz)

Experience with Dependency Based Build (DBB) - MUST

Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines

Understanding of Endevor/Changeman version control

Experience working in Agile environment

Good debugging and problem-solving skills

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS

Work with IDz for development and debugging activities

Implement and maintain DBB build pipelines

Integrate mainframe applications with DevOps and CI/CD tools

Perform code reviews, unit testing, and deployment support

Analyze production issues and provide fixes

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders

Ensure coding standards and best practices are followed

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience with z/OS modernization projects

Knowledge of REXX and Shell scripting

Exposure to APIs and mainframe integration tools

Banking/Insurance domain experience is a plus
