Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SQL Server / Oracle Developer with PowerShell expertise to join an Agile development team responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting enterprise software solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, database development, PowerShell scripting, data analysis, and software configuration.

The candidate should be comfortable working independently, researching technical problems, evaluating new technologies, and developing innovative solutions for complex data and application requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure enterprise software solutions within an Agile environment.
• Develop and maintain database solutions using SQL Server and Oracle.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and PL/SQL programs.
• Perform data mining, analysis, reconciliation, and validation across SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell for application and database-related processes.
• Analyze large datasets and identify trends, inconsistencies, and potential issues.
• Work with Starburst Enterprise / Trino or similar data integration and analytics platforms.
• Design and implement data-driven solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Troubleshoot application, database, and data-related issues.
• Conduct technical research, prototyping, and proof-of-concept activities.
• Evaluate new tools, technologies, and components to improve existing solutions.
• Perform technical impact analysis for complex features and enhancements.
• Ensure development and engineering approaches align with overall enterprise architecture.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders.
• Prepare technical documentation and communicate solutions effectively.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, risk reduction, and quality enhancement.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software development, configuration, or database development.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Strong Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
