Lead Principal Security Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Principal Security Software Engineer to lead Oracle's next generation of AI-powered software assurance technologies. You will provide technical leadership for a strategic engineering initiative focused on AI systems that automatically discover, analyse, explain and remediate software vulnerabilities at scale.

You will lead a small team of engineers and security researchers developing AI-driven platforms that combine large language models, agentic workflows, binary analysis, static and dynamic program analysis, and secure software engineering to improve vulnerability detection and automated vulnerability remediation across Oracle products.

This role combines deep technical leadership with hands on engineering. You will define technical strategy, drive AI architecture, mentor engineers, and translate cutting edge AI and security research into production quality systems that help developers identify and fix vulnerabilities earlier and more effectively.

Success in this role requires strong software engineering skills, experience leading complex AI-based engineering projects, practical application security expertise, and the ability to build scalable AI systems that augment security engineers and software developers.
