Job Description
Description
Kido is re-imagining what early years education can be. We create inspiring nursery environments where children, families, and teams thrive. Behind every great nursery is a brilliant team, and our People function plays a vital role in supporting, developing, and empowering our colleagues across our 20 nurseries. We're looking for an Apprentice People Partner to join our growing People team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their HR/People career who wants hands-on experience, in a sector that truly makes a difference, all whilst working towards a recognised qualification.
You'll work closely with our People Partners and central Hub team to support our nurseries and leaders with day-to-day people matters, while building strong foundations in HR best practice, employment relations, and people development.
As part of the People Team, you will play a key role in embedding Kido's values of Listen, Learn and Lead across the organisation. This means actively listening to our people and leaders, learning from insight, experience and data, and leading with clarity, empathy and integrity.
As part of our Hub team, you are a visible role model for our culture and purpose, setting the standard for how we show up, how we partner with others, and how we make decisions. You will be expected to live and breathe our values every day, helping to translate our purpose into meaningful, consistent people practices that support children, families and teams across our nursery network.
This role is ideal for someone who is curious, organised, people-focused, and keen to learn.
What We're Looking For
Previous HR experience is not required (although could be a bonus!) - we're looking for potential, attitude and curiosity.
During your apprenticeship, you will also spend 20% of your time completing off-the-job training. This means time set aside for learning and development that is separate from your day-to-day work tasks, helping you gain the full knowledge and skills required.

As our Apprentice People Partner, you'll be learning on the job while supporting our nurseries and People Team with day-to-day HR activities. You'll be fully supported as you grow your skills and confidence.
