IT Technical Support Engineer - Edinburgh

IT Support Engineer + SC Cleared role + Based onsite in Edinburgh - looking for local candidates + Paying £200-£220 per day + 5 month initial contract + potential extensions

The role:

Provide on-site and remote technical support for end-user computing devices, workplace technologies, and associated IT services. The role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting users, maintaining IT equipment, and ensuring excellent customer service while adhering to service level agreements Device build and roll out<br />Assist users in day-to-day troubleshooting<br />Maintain IT Equipment<br />Both software and hardware troubleshooting<br />Onsite datacenter assistance hands and eyesEssential knowledge: 1-2 years' experience in an IT support or technical support role.<br />Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11.<br />Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications.<br />Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP).<br />Basic Active Directory experience.<br />Experience supporting desktop and laptop hardware.<br />Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.<br />Good verbal and written communication skills.<br />Customer-focused approach.<br />SC ClearanceDesirable ITIL Foundation certification.<br />CompTIA A+ certification.<br />Microsoft Fundamentals certification.<br />Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.Mobile device support experience
