Onsite Service Engineer

Qualifications:

• Hands-on technical professional with experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems in fast-paced industrial and manufacturing environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to diagnose equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, and minimize downtime while following established procedures and safety standards.
• Experienced working with technical documentation, schematics, hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to support equipment reliability and operational performance.
• Customer-focused team player with a track record of collaborating across departments, communicating effectively, and delivering quality service in both independent and team-based settings.
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, compliance, documentation, and continuous learning, making them well-suited for a field-based technical service role supporting critical equipment and customer operations.

Relevant Previous experience

• 1-3 years of equivalent experience in relevant technical field such as electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum. Ideally, with customer facing experience.

• Strong customer focus to ensure delivered solutions meet customer expectations and timeframes, while working in alignment with Edwards strategies and processes.

• Self-directed, with the ability to understand and resolve problems aligned with job responsibilities and escalates through the appropriate channels when required.

• Proactively seeks customer feedback and asks questions to understand customer ‘s business. • Ability to share technical expertise and knowledge and provide coaching to less experienced team members.

• Collaborates and supports with team members to deliver company objectives.

• Complies with all applicable laws, policies, and standards to ensure organizational, safety and health obligations are met.

• Fluency in written and spoken English. Ability to speak distinctly and see/hear clearly.

• Able to use computer software to record data and write reports.

• Can understand and interpret technical documentation relevant to work e.g., technical drawings.
