Legal & Compliance Checks

  • Certificate of Title (COT): Review, validate, and sign off on COTs received from conveyancing solicitors.
  • Specialist Property Verification: Confirm that complex property structures-such as Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs), Multi-Unit Freehold Blocks (MUFBs), and Limited Company setups-satisfy all specific offer conditions.
  • Special Conditions: Audit files to guarantee that specific underwriting conditions (e.g., corporate structures, personal guarantees, specific tenancy agreements) are fully resolved before funding.
  • Financial Crime Prevention: Conduct mandatory Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) checks on all parties involved.
