Sr. Nondestructive Test Technician | Middleburg Heights, OH, United States | Hybrid | $29.00 - $32.00

The Role

  • Prepare specimens and perform various nondestructive testing (NDT) processes such as Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) on materials and welds.
  • Review internal test orders and conduct testing according to specified requirements and industry standards.
  • Accurately record and document all testing results in the laboratory database and ERP system.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain equipment used in the nondestructive testing of products and materials.
  • Identify defects in solid materials using various NDT techniques, including ultrasonic and radiographic imaging.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on NDT findings and assist in evaluating the root cause of testing failures.

What You'll Need

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in quality control practices.
  • Working knowledge of material specifications and generally accepted quality standards.
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently use common hand and bench measurement tools.
  • Familiarity with the calibration of measuring and test equipment.
  • Experience in the safe handling of materials in accordance with quality practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret ASTM, ASME, and similar testing standards, as well as customer-specific requirements.
