Mechanical Engineer

Job Overview:
Seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to support new product development of complex electromechanical systems. This role involves end-to-end ownership from concept design through prototyping, testing, and production support. Ideal candidates are self-driven problem solvers who can work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems from concept to production
• Create 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks
• Perform prototyping, testing, and validation of designs
• Develop BOMs, assembly drawings, and documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manufacturers
• Conduct design analysis (DFM, DFA, reliability, cost optimization)
• Support system installation and deployment (up to 25% travel)

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical Engineering
• 4+ years of product design and development experience
• Strong expertise in SolidWorks (3D CAD, drawings, simulations)
• Experience with motion systems, sensors, and actuators
• Knowledge of GD&T (ASME standards)
• Familiarity with DFM/A, Six Sigma, DFMEA/PFMEA
• Experience in industrial/mechanical system design

• Structural/vibration analysis experience
