Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced EDI Integration Specialist with experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to join their company specializing in technology-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EDI services, system integrations, and hands-on experience with OIC and various tools and technologies. This role involves production support, project development, system administration, and architectural responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Support:
Monitor transaction flows and resolve EDI transaction failures.
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 EDI support.
Onboard and test new trading partners.
Utilize ticketing systems for issue tracking and resolution.
- Project Development:
Design and implement B2B integrations.
Gather and analyze EDI requirements from business stakeholders.
Develop and maintain custom processing workflows.
Perform unit and integration testing.
- System Administration:
Configure and maintain IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) instances.
Manage system health and perform upgrades.
Ensure system security and compliance.
- Architectural Responsibilities:
Define and implement EDI standards and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
- Proficiency in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Knowledge of EDI standards such as X12, EDIFACT, and XML Papinet.
- Experience in logistics (eg:204, 210, 214, 310) and retail EDI transactions (eg: 850,856,810,940,944,945).
- Knowledge of communication protocols like AS2 and SFTP is a must.
- Experience with systems like E1, OTM, Proteus, and Square 9.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex EDI transactions.
- Knowledge of programming languages like Java (preferred but not mandatory).
- General knowledge of Microsoft tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Open Text and VAN.
- Familiarity with API integrations (REST and SOAP).
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (OCI)
