Job Description

Full Time | Office Based | Competitive Salary + Benefits

bWGM is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing Projects team, delivering complex projects safely, on time and within budget.

This is an excellent opportunity for a project professional with experience within construction, utilities, water, civil engineering or infrastructure environments who enjoys leading projects from inception through to final handover.

As Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of the full project lifecycle, managing programme delivery, client relationships, resources, commercial performance and HSEQ standards while ensuring successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects through the full lifecycle from bid stage through design, delivery and final handover
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets and programmes
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to required quality standards
  • Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, design teams and internal stakeholders
  • Manage project risks and identify opportunities to improve delivery
  • Oversee Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) compliance across projects
  • Support tendering activities including pricing reviews and supplier engagement
  • Coordinate internal resources, subcontractors and supply chain partners
  • Monitor project progress and provide reporting to senior leadership teams
  • Support commissioning, handover and final acceptance activities
  • Contribute to resource planning and project workload forecasting
  • Undertake Temporary Works Coordinator duties where required
About You

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • HND, Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction, Engineering or related discipline
  • Background within Civil, Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
  • Strong understanding of construction management processes and project delivery methodologies
  • Experience working under NEC contracts
  • Excellent project planning and programme management skills
  • Strong stakeholder and client management capability
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Full UK Driving Licence
