Mechanical Engineer | GMP Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

We are supporting a pharmaceutical manufacturing client looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their engineering team within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment .

Key Responsibilities:

• Support mechanical engineering activities across pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and site infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues affecting manufacturing operations.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications and improvement projects.
• Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Production and Quality teams.
• Support installation, commissioning and qualification activities for new or modified equipment.
• Ensure mechanical engineering activities are completed in line with GMP requirements and site procedures .
• Maintain accurate engineering and technical documentation.

Profile:

• Mechanical Engineering background.
• Previous experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or another GMP-regulated environment .
• Strong hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving experience.
• Experience working with manufacturing equipment and mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Understanding of GMP engineering processes.
• Comfortable working on site.
